The Frenchman Ousmane Dembélé, winger for the French national team, confirmed that the team's focus will be entirely on the knockout stages following their significant 4-1 victory over Norway in the third round of the group stage of the 2026 World Cup.
The "Foot Mercato" website explained that Dembélé, who shone by scoring a hat-trick against Norway, refused to celebrate his individual achievement, preferring to talk about the team's goals in the next stage of the tournament.
Dembele said, "We remain focused; it was an important match to conclude the group stage, and we want to win all the games. What comes next will be even more important."
The Paris Saint-Germain winger spoke about the harmony among the French national team players, saying: "Communication is important. We have players with great quality on the field and on the bench, and with communication, everything becomes much better."
