The transfer of Ismaily's left-back Abdel Karim Mustafa to UAE's Sharjah is close to completion, as both clubs have reached a final agreement for the player to move for $750,000, with Ismaily also receiving 20% of any future sale of the player.

Reports indicate that Abdel Karim Mustafa played a crucial role in finalizing the deal by agreeing to waive his financial dues from Ismaily and covering $100,000 of the transfer fee, which will be deducted from his salary at Sharjah over two seasons. This was done to bridge the gap between the two clubs and ensure the deal goes through.

Negotiations initially faced hurdles as Ismaily insisted on receiving $1 million for the player's release, but both parties eventually agreed on a reduced fee while retaining a percentage of any future sale, which helped resolve the disputes and finalize the agreement.

The player is expected to undergo medical examinations before the official announcement of his joining Sharjah, marking his first professional experience outside Egypt, while Ismaily will benefit from the financial return of the deal as it seeks to improve its financial situation during the current transfer window.
