English defender Trevoh Chalobah is set for a new adventure in Serie A this summer, as his agents have arrived in Italy for talks with Inter Milan and Como, both keen on securing the Chelsea player's services.
Journalist Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Chalobah's representatives are in Italy to negotiate with officials from both clubs, as the player aims to make the switch to Serie A ahead of the new season.
Meanwhile, several sources indicate that Chelsea rejected the initial offer from Como for the English defender, while Inter has entered the negotiations to compete with manager Cesc Fabregas's team for the signing.
Romano added that discussions between Inter and Chalobah's agents are ongoing regarding personal terms, but the Italian club has yet to make an official offer to Chelsea, as previously reported by Sky Sports.
Chalobah has long been a target for Inter's sporting director, and the player is eager to experience playing in Serie A during the 2026/2027 season.
Inter had previously inquired about the possibility of signing Udinese defender Omar Soleit, but negotiations between the two parties stalled weeks ago, making Chalobah the club's primary target to strengthen their defense this summer.
